CBC Radio One - Ontario Today - UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM

Just wanted to let you know that I will be on CBC Radio One today as a feature guest on Ontario Today with Rita Celli. The show airs from 12:00 - 1:00 pm but I will be featured from 12:25 to 1 pm. If you are not near a radio but have your computer you can listen on the web at or if you are in London, ON you can tune into 93.5 FM and if in Toronto at 99.1 FM.

Today's discussion is: Do you have the messiest teenager in Ontario?

Hope you have time to listen and give me some feedback.

  1. thank you so much for your advice on the show. i listened. i'm going to try and figure out a way i can take pictures of my room and upload it to show you, or the basement in our house because i think my mom and i have a problem. i'm looking to go out east if i get a job in vancouver and my mom won't let me and it all stems from my messy room. i'm looking around your website also and the blog to see what tips you have.

  2. LEA:
You are very welcome for the advice. You can certainly take some photos and send them to me and we can have a quick consult. Are you located in London? If not, I can certainly try and find some to help you in your city/town.

Good luck and don't worry, you will find plenty of projects to do on the website.

  3. I was actually cleaning out my room when I heard the segment on the radio. I've made myself little signs I can post on the wall and I'm starting out small. I've just decided to throw everything away actually because that's my problem. I don't throw anything away. I will take pictures and send them via email. I'm in the Toronto area. My mom also has one room, the basement, she hasn't confronted yet, but I will pass on to her the advice many of the callers mentioned.

    Thank you for replying!

  4. Hi. I'm still visiting with blog party guests! Thanks for stopping by Simply Sweet Home!

Glad I found your blog. I love organizing!

  5. lae: You keep at it! Throwing things away can be very cathartic but know that you have to consider how you let things into your room. Next time ask yourself: do I really need this? You can send me pictures at

Good luck to you and your mom. Keep me posted.
