I don’t know about you but I feel like a slug… or maybe a sloth… whatever you define it as, I am feeling sluggish and overwhelmed after the holidays. I know I need to get back on the bandwagon to good health. Where does that begin? For me, and likely a lot of you, it begins with the food I eat, a good nights sleep and some exercise (alas, not one of my favourite things). I also need a bit of help to jump start 2013.
Last spring I started working with Vanessa Case, Registered Holistic Nutritionist because I was having trouble with my stomach. I was also having trouble sleeping. Little did I know that my eating schedule and what I was consuming were part of the problem. I found out, through her guided plan that I was not eating on a regular basis and that this drop in energy level was reeking havoc with my blood sugar. Low blood sugar = low energy = constant feeling of fatigue.
