I am a big fan of art museums. It all began when I live in Paris for a year. I fell in love with my husband because he liked going to museums (he had posters of Roy Lichtenstein, Paul Gauguin and Picasso on his bedroom walls). So it should not surprise you that my children enjoy going. Four hours is never enough for us in any museum let alone world famous museums in New York City! While we were on our #GMFamilyFun vacation, we started the week with a visit to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). It was wonderful and was a joy to see some iconic art pieces… Mao by Andy Warhol is one of them (see pic. below).
There are no words that can truly describe the beautiful art that we saw…so I will leave it to pictures…ENJOY…
All the Blogher12 post are part of our #GMFamilyFun experiences which were made possible because I got a sweet ride to New York City courtesy of GM Canada. I could not have had these great opportunities without their assistance. Thanks.. A lot.
“The Hug” is a set of salt & pepper shakers designed by my cousin’s husband – Alberto Mantilla – Mint Inc. and can be purchased at the MoMa Design Store. They were our hosts while in NYC.
