We were not short of laughs, hugs or welcoming cocktails.  On Victoria Day weekend, I drove to Montreal by myself to attend my high school’s 55 Years Anniversary.  This celebration included an ‘all-years’ reunion. Don’t be mistaken, I did not graduate 55 years ago…I graduated from Grade 11 in 1981.  These are my wonderful classmates.

We had so much fun…..

  1. I’ve been to only one of my reunions and it was so much fun – I would definitely advise people to do it! Of course, I went to a single sex school so we all got giggly like schoolgirls again. It would be awesome to see a photo of you guys in school to compare!

  2. I’m so glad you had a great time!! I always go to mine but my husband doesn’t care about his.

  3. Unfortunatley I graduated 2 years ahead of my class and all of my friends. Therefore I technically am not considered “of the class” and was skipped on invitations for our 10 year reunion 2 years ago 🙁

    • Bring your yearbook it was so much fun to look back at the old pictures and ‘gossip’ about the old couples that use to date. Keep an open mind and an open heart and you will have a blast!

  4. What fun, so nice to have gone to a smaller school…my grad class dad close to 600 people, I never even knew three quarters of them!

  5. Such fun and you all look great! The pictures put such a big smile on my face Margarita and reminded me of the 50th anniversary celebrations of my elementary school recently. The best part for me was the same as yours Janet. What a precious treasure to reconnect with the wonderful people we grew up with! 🙂

  6. Looks like a great time! I haven’t attended a reunion myself yet, but I think it would be a riot!

  7. So many people avoid their reunions like the plague…so glad to see you enjoyed yours!

    • We were so disappointed that so many of the ‘locals’ didn’t attend. We cannot really understand why. I came from London, others from Toronto, one from San Diego and one from ITALY… what a hoot!
