My mother-in-law is a women of many talents: she’s a great cook, a perfect hostess and a generous grandmother and MIL.
Every since I have know her, she has worked on some sort of art project. She has made some beautiful keepsake quilts for our children and Christmas stockings to die for but she has now taken up sketching with charcoal (or that’s what I think it is).
These are three pieces, that she has completed, are proudly displayed in her home. The photos do not do the her talents justice. They use to have a cat named “Misty Cat” (that’s what everyone called it). Maybe she has a favourite picture. I should suggest it!

Oh my goodness, these are stunning! My grandmother was an artist and all my siblings have amazing talents, but my artistic skills lie in words, not pictures. I can only dream of creating something like this!
