One of my very favourite touristy “things to do in London, Ontario,” happens every fall. Doors Open London is a weekn was initiated in 1984 in France but soon took over the European Union and countries around the world. In 2002 Ontario Heritage Trust took hold, and many Ontario cities (including London) jumped on the bandwagon.

This year, Doors Open London will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, 2025. Some locations are open both days, some only one day with scheduled tours at designated times. It’s best to check the Doors Open London website for schedule details.
