As you can see there is a awful lot of dropping off, picking up, dropping off, picking up. Don’t think for a moment I am not working in between and setting up appointments with clients and doing the laundry, picking up groceries, vacuuming and cleaning.
This is the plight of most moms. So what would be give to have an assistant at our side… in our pocket actually.
Well here it is: EasyilyDo is just that. A virtual assistant right in the palm of your hand.
EasilyDo is an app available for iOS or Android phones or tablets that help you keep track of thing and helps you get them done. Your mother-in-law’s birthday… they’ve got you covered, your anniversary – no problem – loving email sent and gift card ordered, need to pick up birthday present for that birthday party – just sent me a little reminder.
EasilyDo is free to download on iTunes and Google Store but there is also an upgrade that you can purchase for $4.99/month or $49.99 annually. Since I am a big believer in trying something out first, I am only going to review the ‘free’ version.
EasilyDo consolidates your Facebook, Yahoo and Google Calendars and sends you reminders of important dates. I have to say that I rely an a lot on my Facebook calendar to remind me of people’s birthdays.
At the top you see that you will be reminded of your next scheduled appointment, the weather for today etc..
It can also consolidate your contacts and let you know if you have duplicates and will let you merge them. If you work with SalesForce this also works with this app (both are premium benefits).
You can customize what you want to see.
Super-Cool feature: You can schedule a Happy Birthday post on their FB wall, send a text, email, FB private message or tweet.
What does that mean? It means that you can sit down and schedule all those things at once and never forget someone’s birthday. GENIUS.
If you want to send a gift card, EasilyDo makes it… well easy to do! If you are a premium subscriber, you also get an additional 10% the gift card (a few purchases could pay for the monthly fee – bonus).
You can also integrate your social media platforms with this app. I can have it access my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Ever note etc. I can set up EasilyDo so that at 6 pm it will upload all my Instagram and Facebook feed so I can see what others have posted during the day. Nice thing to do if you are commuting and have time to kill on the bus or train, right?
With EasilyDo if an email is sent to you and from another app, it will let you execute actions automatically. For example, I just got a quick notice that my favourite chef – Jamie Oliver just uploaded a new video. I can open and view the video right from the app. Very convenient.

Feeling a little lost? EasilyDo can help you get home. Using GPS it knows your location and then can give you a route home or to your work. It provides directions and a map to get you home. For those of us that are ‘directionally challenge’ *cough… this maybe very helpful.
Another great feature is that once you get a hotel confirmation or eventbrite event, it adds it to your calendar automatically. I like that… not having to go in and add it myself.
I like that I don’t have to open different apps to access the information I need: it is all in one. NEAT. I have just started to use EasilyDo and I can tell that it will be very helpful in the future.
I will give EasilyDo 4 out of 5 Stars (that may change once I start using it more).
Available on iTunes and Google Store

Great cool app… I have stayed away from most apps because they’re too gimmicky. This one sounds like a grown-up would use it. My favorite part is the Instagram scheduler… I did not know you could do that!
John aka OrganizingLA
Sounds very interesting. Do you find it user-friendly and intuitive or is there a big learning curve?
I love the features! I have a hard time keeping my life in order and my older daughter has a ton of Dr appointments that I am constantly forgetting about. This would be so handy!
This sounds really awesome. I’m on my way to download it now. I love the sounds of some of the exciting features like scheduling a Facebook post!
OMG! I need this ap!! I’m loosing my mind between appointments, blog posts that are due, twitter parties, kids sporting events, kids school events, etc. This is AWESOME!
I have a blogging calendar that I use. It helps me keep track of things without mixing it up with other calendars. Is through Google calendars I think. It works for me!
Wow…this sounds like something I need to try out! There’s so many days where I have a hard time keeping up with my schedule…it would be great to have a handy virtual assistant right in the palm of my hand 😉
Brandi there are many on the market but we never know what you get until you try one out. I am still learning what it can do so I’ll keep you updated.
I have tried EasilyDo, but it has so many features that there are many that I haven’t discovered yet. Thanks for the tips!
Janet: As always, there isn’t a productivity app that I won’t look at. Always curious to see how I can make my life easier. Thanks for hosting the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival. I love participating when I can. I put a link to the carnival.
