Visiting MoMA in New York City
One of my favorite museums in New York City has to be the Museum of Modern Art or MoMA. I have visited the MoMa a few times now and I wanted to share some pictures from my trip a few years ago. Located at:
11 West 53 Street, New York, NY 10019-5497, it is in Midtown Manhattan. You can easily spend an entire day here. It has some of the most iconic modern art pieces in the country. Here is a highlight of some of my favorites.

The most important piece for me was this… it is called Hug and was designed by my cousin’s husband Alberto Mantilla. It has become an iconic piece of modern art exhibited in the Useful Objects area of the museum. It is a salt and pepper shaker and I was thrilled to see it both in the MoMA store and on posters at bus stops. I have a pair which he gave to me when it was first designed.
