It is always a pleasure to be a guest on a podcast. It’s another way to get my message of love about travel out to the world. Whether you want travel tips to Quebec Maritime, an itinerary between Montreal and Quebec City or the benefits of international travel vs. domestic travel have a listen to these podcasts.

There is always an argument about whether or not you should travel within your own country or go abroad. In this lengthy debate between myself and Stephanie Garvelese, we cover all sorts of topics from culinary tourism, passports and costs. There are so many reasons to travel but which one is best for you?

Inclusive vs. Non-inclusive Vacations

1000023019

The newest episode on the Wealth of Geek Podcast has just dropped! It was fun to discuss the pros and cons of All-inclusive resorts or vacations with Karee Blunt from Our Woven Journey.

A mother of five, travel writer and MSN publisher, Karee is a well seasoned traveler who loves the simplicity of inclusive travel. With one price that includes accommodations, meals and entertainment, this is the choice for many.

l on the other hand appreciate the flexibility (and sometimes the savings) of having choices. It means there is more planning but setting my own itinerary makes for more interesting choices.

In this episode, I debate the benefits of traveling internationally with Stephanie Gravelese of Slow Living Kitchen. Along with our moderator, Sarah Gilliland, we dive deep into why leaving your home country or staying closer to home are the best travel options.

You can also watch the debate on YouTube. There should be no surprise that I am on the International travel side and speak about my recent trips abroad. I love getting on a plane and seeing the world. Want to know my thoughts on visiting Greece this year? You can fast forward to 32:44 on why this was a bucket list trip without knowing it. Or maybe you want to know why food tourism is so important to travelers these days go to 51:02.

Staycation vs. Vacations

My first appearance was debating staycations vs. vacations. With the pandemic not quite done, many consider staying closer to home. One of the first episodes of the Wealth of Geeks podcast, it was not posted on YouTube but is available on Apple or any podcast provider.
