The beauty of being attending the largest women’s blogging conference (Blogher11) in the world is that you get to meet and +listen to some very inspiring women bloggers tell you about anything and everything. At the Voices of the Year Keynote numerous bloggers were honoured and they each read or showed a post from their blogs.
The stories were varied but all were inspiring: they spoke about a variety of topics from overcoming drug and alcohol addition, to modern day feminism and breastfeeding; from dealing with cancer and death, to what one would take out of your home if it was burning down from living with a special needs child to self esteem issues. The room was full of emotion as the writing (and readying) was superb, and the women, well they were…AMAZING.
