As we we quickly approach March Break, it is always a good idea to make some plans on what to do if you are staying home instead of travelling. We tend to stay at home because we don’t enjoy the crowds and line ups that usually come with March Break.
We do, however, like to catch up on things that we could not fit into the calendar during the year. So this year, my oldest is taking her Bronze Medallion course (the first in a series to become a lifeguard and swimming instructor). I loved being a swim teacher and I am so glad that my daughter has decided to do this!
Our son is scheduled to take some private skating lessons. Not one to enjoy skating or any sport to be honest, we decided he should try to conquor that fear and get more proficient on skates.
- Write up consent forms if you are crossing the boarder.
- Make sure to pack important items: prescriptions, i.d. tags, familiar cold remedies.
- If you get to your resort early, pack swim-wear to take advantage of the recreational facilities.
- Pack snacks because airport food tends to be expensive.
- Leave yourselves plenty of time…
