There is nothing more fun than going to Ripley’s Aquarium in Canada (you can read my original review). Opened a few years ago in Toronto. It is located right next to the CN Tower and Rogers Centre and right across the street is The Steam Whistle Microbrewery. There is plenty to see and do in the ‘Entertainment District’ of Toronto. You can certainly allow between 1.5 to 3 hours to tour the aquarium. My biggest piece of advice is to go early or late. It was absolutely jam-packed when we arrived around 11 am. It was filled with families and lots of strollers. Be patient and know that the last winding tour with the 180-degree walkthrough aquarium is worth the wait (and a second pass through if you have the time).
Ripley’s Aquarium Canada
Ripley’s Aquarium is a photographer’s dream. There are so many different species of fish, seaweed and coral. You will have to have patience as it gets very crowded here. I suggest coming at the very beginning of the day or an hour before closing. You will be able to get some of the best photos when you walk through the glass tunnel. You are surrounded by sharks, eels and every type of fish. In order to tempt you to take a visit, here are a few pictures and videos from my visit last week.
