A quick trip to the Centre Pompidou
I don’t think that I will ever get sick of going to art museums. The infinite nature of art means that there is always something new and interesting to see; and it can really open your mind to all different kinds of cultures, philosophies, fashions, issues and histories. A trip to the Centre Pompidou is important if you love modern art.
While in Paris, the Centre Pompidou was one of my must-see attractions. We were able to take the bus from our hotel easily and we were lucky to have not come on such a busy day. Since my mom was not feeling well, I took on the museum by myself and fell in love with the galleries.
There are many large installations that take up entire rooms as well as some fun interactive pieces that play with sound and touch. We didn’t stay too long since part of the museum was under renovation, but it was worth the bus trip to go and see it. The Centre Pompidou also offers a free mobile app which plays the role of an audio guide, so make sure to bring a pair of earbuds.
