On Monday’s I host a blog post series on how you can get organized in just a few minutes.  I’ve called this series, Margarita’s Manic Monday Minutes or 4M for short so that you can follow along as I get you organized in 15-20 minutes or less.  Last week’s segment took slightly longer than that but it was well worth it! Every once in a while an organizing product comes across my desk that I absolutely love.

4M LogoO.K. I am a professional organizer, as many of you already know, and to be honest with you there isn’t one professional organizer that I know that doesn’t love Rubbermaid.  It is like salt to a chef, like tires are to a mechanic, like ice cream is to a kid.  It is just something we love to use.  We couldn’t imagine organizing a large space without a big, heavy duty Rubbermaid tote.

When most of us think about Rubbermaid, we think about good quality, durability and practicality.  The thing is that they come up with containers that help us keep our lives nice and neat and…ORGANIZED.

So when I was asked to review their LunchBlox series, it was a slam dunk for this pro.  The Lunch Blox series comes in various permeations.

  • LunchBlox™ Kids for Tall Lunch Bags

  • LunchBlox™ Kids for Flat Lunch Bags

  • LunchBlox™ Sandwich Kit

  • LunchBlox™ Salad Kit

  • LunchBlox™ Entrée Kit

You can have one that is for tall or flat lunch bags. We have one of each of these types of lunch bags in my home.  You can also purchase one just that is specifically for Salads (I own one of those).  I also like to use that when we have pasta or rice leftovers.  One that is new to me (and is the largest combination) the Entrée Kit that has 5 containers and two ice packs.  I have also given ones away to my daughter when she went away to University.  I have decided that this week I would post a vlog (a video blog post for those that don’t know what that new made up word means).  Here is my review of the Rubbermaid Lunch Blox for kids (and adults too as far as I am concerned).

  1. Seems like a great product. I like that it’s elaborated, always worried when carrying lunch for the day that it might spill. Also a fan of keeping g items separate

  2. Rubbermaid never ceases to amaze me. They always come up with the best products – more like solutions, to our daily ( and unexpected problems ). I’m Ms. Lunchbox Girl right now and would love to have these. They’re perfect for me!

  3. I love these containers 🙂 Very useful and they always never leak for me, great for lunches or even snacks 🙂

  4. I love the change of colors, that helps finding them easier. I tend to buy white. These look like they would work perfectly for me. Thanks!

  5. This is a great review. I love that they are microwave safe, dishwasher and freezer safe. The Entree kit looks amazing, it think I’m going to buy one of these

  6. I’m going to have to buy this set…especially the salad to go! With homeschooling 3 boys, we are always on the go. Since eating ‘house food’ is cheaper and usually more nutritional for all our outings, I always try to pack our meals to go when we are on the run. I love how they stack so neatly together too!

  7. I love these. I got some last year and use them all the time. I find the small ones are great for dips and condiments for the kids.

    • I love that you have a certain amount for salad dressing. I love salad dressing and I probably put on too much so this is good for me for sure. Thanks for dropping by.

  8. Looks like a pretty good food storage container! Microwave safe and BPA free products are the most important things I’m looking for. I’ll have to check out this one for my girls.

  9. Tupperware is one of those things I need help organizing! I always have a bottom and a lid but they NEVER match! I love how these Rubbermaid ones snap together! Brilliant!

    • Oh, boy… you need to see the next installment of 4M on Monday, I’m talking about the easy lids system that keeps the lids and the containers together. Great idea. Stay tuned.

  10. I am a huge fan of anything that is leakproof. With four kids there is always something that is leaking. I use wrap-n-mats for the kids sandwiches and a thermos for hot food. My oldest is in high school now and doesn’t like the wrap n mats as they are too babyish in her words, but these are pretty cool. I think she would like them.

    • I love your comment. I have to watch out for what is cool and what is not also. Two teens and they can be a handful. Thanks goodness oldest is in University and I don’t worry about her but she did get one of the LunchBlox when she moved out this fall. 🙂

    • I love that the ice packs snap on too. I have other ice packs but they never cover the whole container and they don’t seem to keep everything cool enough. I love this about the Lunch Blox.

    • There are so great, right Jennifer? I love them. I also like that you can use different containers with different sets but the ice packs are good for all of them. Thanks for dropping by.

    • Do you have any of the larger ones for your lunch? I really love the salad one. It is nice and big and has extra compartments. I showed it in the video. Thanks for dropping by.

  11. My sister could really use these. She sends her kids’ lunch to school in a bunch of mismatched containers that are really hard to fin into their lunch boxes.

  12. What I want to know is where were you when my four kids were going to school, and growing up??? You got some great tips here. I think I’ll give my daughter this here link! Thanks for sharing.
