I have become obsessed with chairs. I am not sure why (well, I kind of know why… I’m helping my friend and colleague @Inkscrblr decorate her home office) or when this obsession will stop but I am feeling rather happy about it.
Chairs have names. Did you know that?
A Barcelona Chair (pictured below), an Eames Lounge Chair 670 and ottoman 671 manufactured by Henry Miller, a Panton Chair, a Tulip Chair (pictured below) and Wassily Chair.
How can you NOT become obsessed with chairs when they are this beautiful.

Margarita, I love these! I’m also a bit of a chair lover myself. Which one is the Wassily?
The first would be my choice. The animal print looks fun too.
Thanks for stopping by this week, I appreciate it, hope you have a great weekend, coming.

I kind of like that last one…
That one also has a name but I have not found it yet. I think it might be a Henry Miller. Must find that out. It is a rocker though. Pretty comfortable.
pretty funky chairs! as long as it’s comfy it’s my favourite one!
I am kind of in love with a couple of those. I did not know one was dubbed a tulip chair. That’s fun. Not sure my dream chair is there though. I do like the orange a bit.
Nope, none of the ones I saw would work (except maybe the Tulip chairs). I just am in love with chairs now…
those are pretty neat!
Thanks for dropping by and commenting. I have to admit, I loved all of these chairs. I could have taken a million pictures of all the ‘collections’ in this particular store.
I love love love the Barcelona chair!
Yes, that Barcelona chair has had a re-birth these last few years. Unbelievable that it was designed for the 1929 World’s Fair in Barcelona.
Pretty chairs!! I love all the orange! Happy hunting 🙂
Great, now I want a new fun and fabulous office chair!
Stephanie, there are so many choices if you are willing to pay for it. Some of these are knock offs but a genuine Eames Chair and Ottoman (that I don’t have pictured here…) costs $5,500 so not for the faint of heart.
Ooh ooh! You guys should have bought the cow print chair!! 😉

Oh… these are all for fun. They would not be suitable for Paula’s office. Need to be more comfortable and practical with kids. But it has been fun looking for chairs.
I like the first and last ones best haha
It is interesting to see that red and white were so prominent. They were absolutely lovely chairs. I love the Barcelona chair a lot also.
