When I was in Toronto a while ago, I was walking up the street approaching the financial district and much to my surprise, I was offered a 2 litre container of the new International Delight Iced Coffee. The only draw back was that it was a cold winter’s day and I didn’t think this was the opportune time to hand out an iced coffee. Fast forward to today’s hot summer day and I have to say I would love to have one now.
A few months later I found myself at the #SoFab Conference in Fayetteville, AR as a guest of Social Fabric. It was a three day conference that introduced us to some of the best brands – DUANEreade, Nestle, Kraft and International Delight.
As a blogger, we are often asked to review products for ourselves, our families, our pets and our work life. The SoFab organizers hosted a ‘live’ International Delight twitter party with about 30 or 40 of bloggers in attendance at the conference and the rest of y’all (I was in Arkansas after all) in Twittersphere.
It was a great Twitter party (and you know I love twitter parties) with fun questions, facts & trivia about ID, recipe suggestions and prizes… ‘cause you know, we love the prizes. Yet, that was not the best part of the party. We were treated to a bevy of f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s. beverages and delights – pardon the pun: creamers for our coffee, cookies and of course the Iced Coffees. They had both the Mocha and the Caramel Macchiato ones… yum, yum.
I’ve been a HUGE fan of International Delights coffee creamers (Irish Cream and French Vanilla my two favourites) but the caramel macchiato flavour made me realize that I could make my very own {Starbucks} Caramel Macchiato for a fraction of the cost and the taste was just as good!!!
These were the goody surprise bags that were handed out with cookies and other treats for us. We just loved them. To say the least, the twitter party trended on Twitter because so many International Delight fans were talking about it. Make sure to keep you eye out on other twitter parties with these great brands but more importantly, keep looking for #LinkedMoms chat for exciting opportunities to work with our Canadian community. We meet on twitter every Wednesday evening at 8 pm EST on Twitter.
Disclosure: This was not a paid post and was not sponsored by any company mentioned in this post. I just wanted to share the great experience that I had at the Twitter party because I am a big, big fan! It is my guilty pleasure

I love their creamers! I have been drinking that International Delight for years now. So the Iced coffee. Oh my gosh. I really have to try that. Those cute little handouts are very nice too. So you were just walking down the street in Toronto in the winter and someone handed you one? That’s nutty. I wish I had been there.
Love their iced coffee! Mocha is my fave – tastes like chocolate in a cup 🙂
Got to love it… I had some more today and I think I had too much because I am still up writing and it is 4:09 am…
Yum!!!
Mmmm, have never heard of this before but will now be on the watch. Thanks for sharing.
I haven’t seen that yet but I will definitely be on the watch for it…I am ashamed to say I am a bit of a reality TV junkie!
Yes! We love that show too. I would be SO stressed out driving in most of those places LOL
I thought driving in Paris was a challenge. They have nothing on these cities…
