I am not a great cook but sometimes all you have to do is to have fantastic ingredients to make a great meal. In my house those ingredients tend to be pretty basic and not very exotic – with a few exceptions.
I fell in love with Simply Natural Organic products when I received a package from The Healthy Shopper. They introduced me to various products that they offer through their coupon book. One of my favourites was the Simply Natural organic line of salad dressings. I just loved them. I now get to taste test some of the Simply Natural Organic Salsa Line. Available in many natural food stores and also some large retailers, this line has become more and more accessible in the Canadian market. Simply Natural has 5 choices of salsa: some sweet (but not too sweet) and some savoury.
Simply Natural Organic Salsas, 470mL bottles
- Chunky Salsa – Mild
- Chunky Salsa – Medium
- Pineapple Salsa
- Mango Salsa
- Black Bean & Corn Salsa
Each of the sauces have a little kick to them. Not hot enough to be muy caliente, just enough heat to make it taste authentic. With yummy organic ingredients like pineapple, mango, peppers, onions, jalapeno peppers, cilantro and organic seasonings, you can just taste the difference in the quality. No fillers and strange sounding ingredients in here. Just pure organic ingredients.
We loved every single one of the Simply Natural Organic combinations. I cannot say enough about the taste. It is fresh, so flavourful and nice and chunky, just what good salsa should be.
Besides your typical salsa and chips, we like to put this salsa on chicken burgers.
You can see the big pieces of mango and tomatoes in the picture above. Nice crusty bread and a BBQ chicken breast with a tomato and mayo. That just screams summer cooking, doesn’t it?
We also enjoy putting some of Black Bean and Corn Salsa on our fajitas. It just kicked up the flavours just one more notch to ‘gourmet’. Don’t ever be afraid to veer away from the usual. It is well worth the time and money to find Simply Natural Organic sauces at your local grocers. I have also seen the salad dressing at Costco.

Love that it’s organic, but I’d like to see some hotter options (without sugar added too). Salsa is so yummy and easy to incorporate into a lot of meals, and I’ve been looking for something organic. Thanks!
They do have a hotter option I just haven’t tried it yet. I must admit neat is not my cup of tea but all the sauces still have a little kick. Just enough to make it delicious.
We use salsa in so many recipes! It’s the perfect ingredient full of flavor. I think my hubby would love the pineapple. Black bean and corn is my favorite!
I am not a big fan of black bean but they use just enough to taste great but not over power the sauce. Give it a try!
mmm i have never heard of this brand before but i love natural organic products and these sound delicious!
They are a line in the Chelton House line. Here is the website for more info: http://www.cheltenhouse.com/ Enjoy!
I have never heard of this salsa but it looks yummy and that its organic is a benefit as well.
It is really, really good… enough said!
I love that they offer mango salsa. I try to buy organic as often as I can.
You should try it. I know you can find it in the US pretty easily. Worth the search for it!
