Happy St. Patrick’s Day

My eldest was a competitive Irish Dancer for 11 years. She retired when she was 17 so she could pursue other interest.  I miss those days spent listen to reels and jus and watching her gracefully leap through the air.

This was Lauren’s third dress, her first one was black and white the second was blue and orange but this copper one has to be one of my favourites.

She has now retired (sort of… she is working with some University of Ottawa students to teach them the basics of Irish Dance) but I know that she still loves to dance… I have retired from being a ‘dance’ mom but I have to say this is where I would love to retire Smile

  1. Oh my gosh look how cute they all are!!! Even MY H is so adorably sweet and small there. These are stunning outfits and I am sure that L remembers what a great activity that was for her and how supportive the entire family was.

  2. I’m in the thick of those Dancing Days now, I know one day I will look back in longing at them. Thanks for the reminder to cherish every moment 🙂
