I cannot say how many times I’ve said to my kids “Did you wash your hands?”  It is the bane of every moms existence to ensure:

  1. Your kids brush their teeth three times a day (yes, once is a requirement, twice is nice and three times a bonus but sometimes, well, you just don’t win).
  2. They have done their homework. (Have you done it yet?  Is it done yet? Are you finished yet?… you get the drill).
  3. Did you flush the toilet? and lastly…
  4. Did you wash your hands?  After going to the washroom…after getting home from school…after eating… after coming in from outside…after, after, after.  Its a never ending task.

How successful are you? Do you manage to get your kids to clean their hands repeatedly?  I am convinced that I keep colds and flus out of my house because I try to keep germs at bay by requiring my family to w.a.s.h. their hands constantly.

Lysol hands-free soap dispenser makes this so much easier because there is not mess and you don’t have to touch anything.  We sometime forget that whenever we touch  taps, countertops and sinks that germs may be linger there. So we try to wash our hands this way:

  1. Turn on the tap
  2. Apply the soap (with Lysol hands-free dispenser)
  3. Dry your hands and with the towel
  4. Turn off the tap
  5. (if you are in a public bathroom) make sure to use the paper towel to OPEN the door then toss the towel in the garbage.

This simple process helps us minimize the spread of germs or the re-contamination of our hands.  You can never be too careful.

How do you get your kids to invest in cleaning their hands? Well, let them decorate the Lysol hands-free soap dispenser and see what happens. They will WANT to use it when they know they’ve decorated it themselves.  Put a little fun in keeping it clean.

  1. Your dispenser is so pretty! I let our girls have at it and we have a “Garden Lay-Tee” in our bathroom, who’s official name is “Soapy”. Haha so fun
