See What is in Store…storage that is… Using a picture of the item that is stored in a garment bag or container is a good way to keep track of items. We tend to be visual people and when we see something we will remember it…and therefore have a tendency to wear it or use the item in question.
Taking a picture of what is inside shoe boxes or even Christmas decorations that you are storing helps when you are looking for items.

In Christmas storage boxes, I list a few items that are in the box (since like things are stored together) I will have a better idea of what is in the box. For examples: tree ornaments, tree lights, tree skirt are all in the same box.
Use systems or reminders that work for you . It might seem a bit labour intensive to take pictures and glue them on the tag but in the long run, you will be happy you did!
