Is it February already? How can that be? It was just New Year’s a few weeks ago right? This month is a short one so you need to get organized start writing. I was on one of my blogger support groups this week and was asked what do you find the hardest about blogging. I said to write EVERY DAY. I don’t tend to be one to have something to say every day (o.k. that is a blatant lie if you actually speak to me on the phone) but I find that it is hard to sit down and just write.
I love to write. I love to craft a post and write about what is important to me and what I love to do with the kids or with my husband. I love to post online without a doubt. But sometimes I find it hard to just write every day.
So I have decided to add some writing prompts to help the process. These are for you and for me. You can use them to let me know if you have been inspired to write a blog post. If you have, make sure and let me know so I can share it with the world.
I wanted to remind you that February is: Black History Month, Heart & Stroke Month and Jr. Achievement Month. The week of Feb. 9 – 15 is Random Acts of Kindness Week. In the US you celebrate President’s Day the third Monday of February but we Canadians celebrate Family Day. An effort to focus on the family in the dead of winter. On Thursday, Feb. 19th begins the Year of the Goat. Celebrate Chinese New Year! On Feb. 22 it is World Thinking Day (Girl Guide & Boy Scouts celebrate the founding of those iconic youth organization).
I have put together a prompt schedule that is a combination of my topics / and yours.

I love writing post prompts. Now I can book mark this for when I get writer’s block
Oh my goodness, this is such a well organized calendar to manage such a tight schedule for the entire month. I always needed something like this to plan myself better.
I know! I can’t believe it’s already February! This is a very helpful post to stay organized.
What great prompts! I’m super impressed that you posted that much, I’m proud when I post 3 times a week!
Holy crap, Margarita! I thought you were a blogger… did not realize that you were a BLOGGER! 😉 I still don’t why anyone needs to blog EVERY day, but it does seems to be paying off for you in terms of engagement. Yes, an editorial calendar/ prompt schedule is definitely the way to go!
Those are great prompts. I have never used Blogger prompts before. I usually just write about reviews and things. That is a great idea! I will definitely use some of them to fill in the blanks of my blog!
These are great prompts and even if they don’t fit into someone’s blog, you’ve demonstrated how you can get blogging ideas out of everyday and special events. Brilliant!
Someone once challenged me to blog about something for Jell-O Week and I actually did, keeping to my topic of business. That one’s no longer online, but I’ve just realized Jell-O Week is coming up soon; maybe I need to republish it! Thanks for the inspiration.
No thank you for having that support group for Professional Organizers that blog. I have to tell you it has helped me so much in the past. Even to have the monthly topics to blog about. Just one more prompt in my niche to help out. I just love the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival #POBC
Wow! Blogging every day? Lofty goal indeed! I’m impressed and I LOVE your topics!
Love the Random Act of Kindness week is almost here! I love doing things for others and watching their expressions.
I have never thought of using prompts when it comes to writing. Another great idea I am going to steal.
These prompts are awesome! I will have to join in on your writing for sure! I love that you are doing this!
I could get some pointers here as I need to get more organized with my posts. This could really help in writing easier.
Oops Random Acts of Kindness week.
I can’t believe it’s February either! This year is definitely going fast. I love the random week of kindness. That’s so awesome!
Wow, I love your prompts! I’ve never heard of Jr. Achievement, what is that? Looking forward to reading a ton of these posts- especially the note to your younger self!!
I love the idea of giving ideas for writing prompts…I often feel stuck in a rut and out of ideas for posts! Thanks for sharing!
I try to plan ahead but I’m not the best at it. I’m working on getting better though. I’ve been ok so far this year, just ok.
Ooh…writing a letter to my younger self. Now that would be a hoot. I wish I could be disciplined enough to write each day. Once or twice a week is about all I can handle
I need to do something like this. I have so much due, and then I scramble and have to move things around. It would be so much easier to plan ahead.
I am really looking forward to Family Day!
It’s always good to remind people about Random Acts of Kindness. Being one who travels quite a bit, I am always amazed at how strangers are when you ask nicely and with a smile. Some literally go the extra distance when you ask for directions. Small and big acts, I too try to pass on.
I have too much sponsored stuff that comes up with short deadlines to plan out that far ahead, but I would love to. Great ideasl
LOVE this prompts! I really love the Random Acts of Kindness Week idea! I love paying it forward and ding nice things for others! I’m all about making the world a nicer place <3
These are some good prompts. Thanks for the ideas. I forgot that Random Acts of Kindness week was coming up.
Thanks
